What a surprise to wake up to on Saturday, having a cheque for £4000.00 posted through the letter box from the WPH Healthcare Charity.
This will help fund the most up to date communications equipment in our vehicles, allowing us to receive information on the type of incident to are attending and as it has the most up to date mapping system, allow us to find the incident location quicker.
Lee Nash, Fleet Manager for NWCFR said, “We currently have an old system in our vehicles with old maps so we sometimes spend time trying to find location addresses, the new systems supplied by Terrafix will allow us to have the most up to date system on the market today. It is the same system that are in the ambulances and because it is the latest technology it will last for sometime and be ESN compliant. I can’t thank WPH enough for their kind donation”.
